About me

Hi, I'm Amy. I am an authorised marriage celebrant who lives in Cairns, Far North Queensland with my gorgeous husband and two beautiful daughters.

I love the slow and simple things in life. I love long dinners with yummy food and great wine. I love the beach, the feeling of the sun on my skin and diving under the waves into cold water. I love watching my husband dance in the kitchen with our girls while he cooks dinner. I love farmers markets and great coffee. I love pottering in my yard and gardening with my dog Indi. I'd drink a scotch on the rocks or a margarita over champers any day. I love laughing, I love telling peoples stories and I love, LOVE!

With over eight years experience as a celebrant, I love creating ceremonies that reflect your story and relationship. There are no rules with weddings (apart from the legal nitty gritty), and I encourage you to think outside the box and do what suits you as a couple. Want to get married in your backyard with hay bales and your Aunties famous punch? Awesome! A tropical island with your besties and snorkeling afterwards? Brilliant! A morning wedding followed by a long brunch? Love it! Want to wear a blue dress and exchange your vows in your fav cocktail bar? I am the gal for you!
